Peak Exposure is a portable rock climbing wall. It was added to Lagoon's list of rides in 1999, same year the The Rocket was added. It is an "X-Venture Zone" Attraction, which is one of the five rides at Lagoon you pay extra for to ride. It gives you the feeling of real rock climbing, you actually use real rock climbing harnesses to climb in. The ride uses an auto baley system which uses pullies to lower you to the ground when you reach the top. The price for this ride is $5.00 for 2 climbs. You can either climb up the same wall twice or climb 2 of the 4 walls. In the picture to the right, The wall that is facing the person standing in the picture is the hardest wall, then next to that one is the easiest wall, then the other 2 are different medium wall. Each wall is about a 30 foot climb. When you get to the top you push a buzzer and then kick off and get to repel down to the ground. Not to many people climb the wall becasue of the price and some rumors have been going around that the wall may be leaving Lagoon becasue it isn't making any money. Please remeber this is just a rumor and it should be taken as such till the park makes an official announcement, Thank You GoonieFreaks.com Management | |
